About Scenelex
Learn English words from the videos you watch and the texts you read.
What we do
Scenelex finds English words at the levels you choose in the subtitles of videos you watch and in texts you add, and prepares a flashcard for each one with its meaning and an example sentence. You study your cards on your computer or phone and can export them to Anki, Quizlet, PDF or Word.
The service has two parts: the web app at app.scenelex.com and the Scenelex Companion Chrome extension, which collects video subtitles. Scenelex is independent of the video platforms and is not affiliated with any of them.
Plans
Scenelex is free to use. The Pro plan adds more monthly usage, word lists of any length, dictionary lookups and lists from screenshots. Current prices are in the pricing section.
